What is Milena After Midnight?
It is a cinematic late-night conversation series—a dream salon exploring dreams, memory, symbols, intuition and unusual experiences. Each conversation begins with the dreamer’s own story and follows its images, emotions and possible meanings.
Is the show a podcast?
It is designed first as a cinematic conversation series rather than a conventional podcast. Video and audio availability will be announced as episodes are released.
Does the show claim there is one correct meaning for a dream?
No. Milena approaches dreams with curiosity rather than certainty. The conversation can uncover personal associations and possibilities, but it is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice or prediction.
Who can apply?
Dreamers, artists, performers, creators, experts and recognizable personalities are welcome to submit a vivid dream or unusual experience that they are open to exploring.
Can minors participate?
Yes, minors may be considered with the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian must help submit the application and be available for the review process. Additional signed permissions will be required before any filming, recording or publication. Participation is considered case by case and is never guaranteed.
What kinds of stories are you looking for?
Stories that remain emotionally alive: recurring dreams, striking symbols, lucid or liminal experiences, nightmares, memories that feel dreamlike and encounters that resist an easy explanation.
Do I need to know what my dream means?
Not at all. Uncertainty is welcome. The most useful submission is honest, specific and rich in the details you remember—images, feelings, sounds, colors, people and places.
Can I apply from outside Chicago or outside the United States?
Yes. Dream submissions are welcome from anywhere in the world. Most full guest conversations are filmed in the Chicago area, and select participation may be possible remotely.
Are travel expenses covered?
Travel support is not guaranteed. Any location, timing or travel arrangements will be discussed individually with selected guests before scheduling.
What happens after I apply?
Your application enters the production team’s review process. If your story may fit the show, the team will contact you to discuss the dream, possible format and filming details. Applying does not guarantee selection.
Does submitting a dream give permission to publish it?
No. Your initial application gives the production team permission to review the submission and contact you. It does not guarantee participation or publication. If selected, any additional permissions and arrangements will be discussed before the story is recorded or published.
Can my dream be featured anonymously?
Some dreams may be explored anonymously or appear in the Dream Archive. If your submission is selected, the team will discuss the most appropriate format with you before anything is published.
Is this medical or mental-health advice?
No. The show and journal are for storytelling, reflection and entertainment. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or mental-health care.
